I love my sister, we're really close, even after she found out she got cancer 3 years ago.
It's really sad, she lost her voice. I've got some old vids of her talking and I'm trying to see if I can train voice model for AI voice.

The ultimate goal would be to get it onto an Android app or even just a website, so she can type stuff and it'll talk in her voice again, you know?
Especially on her phone, that'd be awesome. Just trying to figure out the easiest way to pull this off.

That's really awesome what you're doing for your sister. Using her old videos to create a voice model sounds like a great idea. You might want to check out open source voice cloning tools to start then build a simple web or android app for her to type and hear her own voice. Its a bit technical but definitely doable.

So sorry to hear that, my prayers to your sister. Good luck with all that, any technical questions please just drop em down. Ill make sure to visit this thread again to try to help more than just this.

I'm sorry about what happened to your sister. now, what you're looking for is a text to speech app. there are several options out there that can use your own recordings

That's really touching, trying to bring her voice back like that is such a meaningful project. Using old videos for voice cloning is definitely possible with some open-source tools out there. It'll take some technical work to train the model and build an app, but starting small with a web app might be easiest. Your sister's lucky to have you pushing this

I think this already exists. Do you want one on your own? I think it's gonna cost much if so. But you can ask help from some AI to make the codes for you. You just gotta pay for subscriptions on subscriptions I'm sure. Fighting!

hi OP, I'm really touched that you want to help your sister, have you try ElevenLabs or MyShell. They're some of the more accessible AI voice cloning platforms right now, and they often have APIs that could be integrated into an app or website. You'll need as much clear audio as possible
